Alpharetta families looking to lock in fall activities have a new planning tool: the city's 2026–2027 School Year Connect Guide went live Friday, July 10.

The guide, published by the Recreation, Parks & Cultural Services Department, lists programs in youth sports, dance, fitness, arts and culture, adaptive recreation, school break camps, and special events. Registration for Alpharetta residents opens Wednesday, July 22. Non-residents can sign up starting Wednesday, August 5.

The department said planning ahead helps residents secure spots, noting that popular programs fill quickly once registration opens.

How to browse

The guide is available at alpharetta.ga.us/recreation-parks-culture. Printed copies will be available at city recreation facilities in the coming weeks. Residents who need help with registration or have questions about specific programs can email [email protected].

What to know

The guide spans the full school year, covering programming through spring and summer break camps. Categories include offerings for children, teens, adults, and seniors, as well as adaptive recreation for residents with disabilities.

No program fees or a full catalog of individual class names have been published separately. The city encouraged residents to browse the online guide for complete details on schedules and availability.
