Alpharetta and Milton artists looking to get their work into a juried show have a cluster of deadlines landing in the next two weeks.
The closest opportunity is right in town. Arts Alpharetta's "Voces del Corazón – Art from the Soul" exhibition has an extended submission deadline listed as Tuesday, July 28, on the Arts Alpharetta website. The show runs Wednesday, August 19, through Saturday, October 17, at the Alpharetta Arts Center, with an opening reception Friday, August 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. All styles and media are welcome; the call asks for work reflecting personal journeys, emotional authenticity and cultural pride, with a focus on the Hispanic and Latino experience. Artists should confirm the current deadline at artsalpharetta.org before submitting, as the date has shifted during the application period.
Ten miles south, the Asian American Artists Society's 2026 Fall Art Exhibition opens at Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest St., Roswell, on Monday, September 1, and runs through Friday, November 13. The submission deadline is Monday, August 3. Artists may enter up to three original 2D or 3D works for $35 (non-members) or $50 (members), according to the ShowSubmit listing. Organizers said they are seeking work with "rich tones and layered meanings," per a Rough Draft Atlanta roundup published July 22 by freelance writer Sherri Daye Scott. The show is open to both members and non-members.
The sixth annual Sandy Springs Fall Arts & Crafts Festival, also known as Artsapalooza, has a submission deadline of Tuesday, August 4, via ZAPplication. The festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, through Sunday, September 13, according to Rough Draft Atlanta. Best of Show awards go to winners in both Fine Arts and Crafts categories, judged live on opening day. Admission is free. The application requires five images, including a booth shot, plus a $30 non-refundable processing fee. The festival draws foot traffic from Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Dunwoody, Roswell and greater North Atlanta.
Buckhead's Grandview Avenue Gallery also has a call open. The "Looking Forward 2026" exhibition, juried by landscape painter Debra Nadelhoffer, a Plein Air Salon finalist and Oil Painters of America signature member, has a deadline of Saturday, August 1. The show runs Thursday, September 3, through Friday, December 18. Artists may submit up to three works across painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media and fiber, with cash awards for the top three finishers.
Further out, Arts Alpharetta's annual Paint the Town plein air competition has a Wednesday, September 30, entry deadline, with the competition running Tuesday, October 20, through Friday, Saturday 24.
