Milton's softball team beat Centennial on Monday, Aug. 10, with Savannah Kohler going 3-for-3 with three RBI to power the Eagles to their second straight win to open the 2026-27 season.
Five different Eagles drove in runs as Milton produced throughout the order. Bre Tyldesley went 1-for-2 with two RBI, while Sophia Kirby collected two hits in three at-bats. Carson McElroy matched Kirby with a 2-for-3 night and added an RBI. Annie Scott and Reagan Stephens each drove in a run.
On the mound, Avery Miller and Scott combined to hold Centennial to just one run in the victory.
The win moves Milton to 2-0 after the Eagles edged South Forsyth 7-6 in the Aug. 4 season opener. The early-season surge follows a spring 2026 campaign that saw Milton reach the GHSA Final Four before its run ended.
Milton Athletics highlighted the stat line on X after the game, noting the balanced offensive effort across the lineup alongside the dominant pitching performance from Miller and Scott.
The Eagles stay on the road Tuesday, Aug. 11, traveling to Sequoyah High School in Canton for a 7 p.m. first pitch. Milton then visits Roswell on Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m. and Cherokee on Sept. 9 at 4:30 p.m.
