Milton head football coach Ben Reaves earned his 50th career win at the school Friday, Sept. 25, as the Eagles demolished Johns Creek 63-0 on the road.

The program celebrated the milestone on X on Saturday, Sept. 26, honoring a coach who has led Milton to three Georgia High School Association (GHSA) state championships in 2018, 2023 and 2024. The Eagles also finished as state runner-up in 2021 and have claimed nine region titles under Reaves.

The blowout at Johns Creek was never in doubt. Milton led 49-0 at halftime, and younger players finished out the second half.

The Eagles piled up 264 passing yards, 297 receiving yards and 196 rushing yards against the Gladiators, according to MaxPreps. Ciaran Meenan, Derrick Baker and Roman Tumminia earned Players of the Game honors.

Baker, a senior quarterback, leads Milton with 1,398 total yards on the season, per MaxPreps. Senior wide receiver Jordan Carrasquillo has averaged 101.6 receiving yards per game with five touchdowns. On the defensive side, senior Roman Tumminia leads the state with 6.0 sacks.

The win pushed Milton to 4-1 and No. 8 in the MaxPreps Georgia rankings. The Eagles opened the season with a 30-29 win over North Cobb on Aug. 21, then beat Cambridge 53-21 on Sept. 4 and Battle Ground Academy 42-21 on Sept. 11. Their only loss was a 20-21 defeat to Blessed Trinity earlier this season.

Milton defensive coordinator Coach Willingham wrote on X that the program is lucky to have Reaves leading the kids, program and community. Sophomore offensive lineman Nathan Link II called Reaves the "best in the business" on X.

The Eagles host Lanier on Friday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m. and welcome Alpharetta on Friday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 p.m.
