Downtown Alpharetta is adding five independently operated restaurants between May and summer 2026, expanding the range of chef-driven, internationally diverse options available without a drive to Buckhead or intown Atlanta.
Little Alley Steak, Saj and OneDayinParis are already open. Amasa Mexican Kitchen and Giulia Italian Bakery are preparing to open at Alpharetta City Center, both targeting summer 2026. Together, the five span steakhouse fine dining, Levantine Mediterranean, French café culture, Baja California-inspired seafood and Italian baking.
Little Alley Steak opened May 11, at 102 S. Main St., taking over the former Salt Factory Pub space. The Alpharetta location is the brand's third in metro Atlanta, joining restaurants in Roswell and Buckhead. The menu centers on USDA Prime dry-aged steaks, raw oysters and an extensive bourbon and wine program. OpenTable lists the restaurant in the "$50 and over" range. Hours run 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Saj occupies 58 Canton St., Suite 104. The family-owned, BYOB restaurant serves Levantine-inspired Mediterranean cuisine, including Yemeni chicken shawarma with hawayej spice, grilled lamb chops marinated in seven-spice over oak charcoal, and whole grilled Gulf snapper with chermoula and Aleppo chili oil. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday through Saturday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to the restaurant's website.
OneDayinParis sits at 35 Milton Ave., Suite A, inside The Hamilton Hotel, steps from Avalon. The concept combines a boulangerie and café, a full French restaurant, a cocktail bar and a wine program with guided tastings. Three French partners who previously lived in Paris, Bordeaux, Los Angeles and New York founded the business after settling in Alpharetta.
Amasa Mexican Kitchen will open at 15 Academy St., Suite 1E, inside Alpharetta City Center. Owner Juan Calle, who also runs Buena Vida Tapas, Chichería Mexican Kitchen and The Silver Dollar through TQM Hospitality, told Dish Around Town in April: "We're building on what guests already love about Chichería while introducing new experiences, from our seafood-forward menu to our tequila program and live entertainment."
The menu is fully gluten-free and Baja California-inspired, featuring house-made organic blue corn tortillas ground and pressed fresh daily. The layout includes communal tables upstairs, two private dining rooms downstairs, and evening programming with live jazz and saxophone performances. Amasa tied for best entrée at the 2026 Taste of Alpharetta, which drew more than 25,000 visitors and 73 participating restaurants, according to the North Atlanta Star.
Giulia Italian Bakery, founded in 2020 by brothers Ben and Seth Gjuka, is opening its fourth metro Atlanta location at Alpharetta City Center this summer. Existing locations include Peachtree Corners and East Cobb. The baking team starts at 4 a.m. daily to prepare croissants, bombolones, baguettes and sourdough using ingredients sourced from Italy.
Lisa Carter, property manager at Alpharetta City Center, confirmed the bakery's lease in an April press release, calling it a concept that "aligns seamlessly with the character of the property."
No specific opening dates have been announced for Amasa or Giulia as of Tuesday, July 21.
