EōS Fitness plans to open two Alpharetta-area gyms in 2028, according to updated company listings, as the Dallas-based chain expands into Georgia.

Both locations — at 965 North Point Drive and 700 McFarland Parkway — are listed for 24-hour operation. Earlier reports had pointed to 2027 openings.

At North Point Commons, EōS signed a long-term lease for 38,418 square feet, replacing the former Joann Fabric and Crafts store and becoming the retail property’s anchor, Patch reported in September.

The company’s North Point listing now gives 2028 as the opening year but does not specify a date. Planned offerings include group fitness classes, strength training equipment, free weights and personal training.

The second gym is planned near the intersection of McFarland Parkway and Union Hill Road. EōS markets that location as its Milton gym, listing the address as 700 McFarland Parkway and the opening year as 2028.

Its advertised amenities include group fitness classes, an outdoor workout area, strength training equipment and recovery spaces.

More gyms planned across metro Atlanta

The two locations are part of a broader Georgia expansion.

EōS recently signed a 63,084-square-foot lease at Perimeter Village in Dunwoody, where it will occupy part of a former Walmart space. Plans include a 6,433-square-foot outdoor exercise area, What Now Atlanta reported. The publication described Dunwoody as the chain’s sixth announced Georgia location.

Other planned gyms include 5055 Austell Road in Austell and 2880 Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell, according to What Now Atlanta.

EōS announced its Georgia expansion in November 2024, outlining plans for more than 50 locations statewide over 10 years.

“Atlanta is the third fastest growing metropolitan area in the US, and venturing here represents a key milestone in our long-term vision for EōS,” CEO Rich Drengberg said in the company’s Nov. 25, 2024, announcement.

The chain advertises memberships starting at $9.99 per month at most locations. Rates for the North Point Drive and McFarland Parkway gyms have not been posted on their location pages.
