Alpharetta residents along the McFarland corridor will get a new budget gym option in 2027 after EōS Fitness signed a long-term lease at 700 McFarland Pkwy., the company announced Wednesday, July 15.
The location sits near the southwest corner of Union Hill Road and McFarland Parkway, according to the company's gym page for the site. Memberships will start at $9.99 per month, and the gym will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
EōS is a national chain with more than 225 locations open or in development across Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Texas and Utah, according to an April 9, 2026 company press release. The Alpharetta lease is one of three Georgia locations the company revealed on July 15; the others are at 5055 Austell Road in Austell and 2880 Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.
The McFarland Parkway gym will offer group fitness classes including cycling, yoga, pilates, Zumba, water aerobics and Les Mills programming, plus personal training and a strength area with free weights up to 150 pounds and powerlifting platforms, according to the company's site listing.
CEO Rich Drengberg said in a Nov. 25, 2024 news release, when EōS first announced its Georgia expansion plans, that "Atlanta is the third-fastest growing metropolitan area in the US, and venturing here represents a key milestone in our long-term vision for EōS."
The company said in that November 2024 announcement it planned to open 50 Georgia locations over 10 years. In the first quarter of 2026 alone, EōS signed 11 new leases nationwide and reinvested $10 million into existing gyms, according to the April 9 press release.
Georgia has fewer gyms per capita than the national average, with one fitness club for every 8,200 residents compared to one for every 6,050 nationally, according to a July 2025 William Blair equity research report citing Health & Fitness Association data.
The EōS gym page labels the Alpharetta site as serving both Alpharetta and Milton residents. The address falls within the 30004 ZIP code.
No specific opening month has been announced beyond 2027. Residents can sign up for updates and pre-enrollment pricing at the company's gym page for the location. The other two Georgia locations, in Austell and Roswell, are also slated for 2027.
