Seven fall events hit Alpharetta between Oct. 11 and Nov. 14, stretching from a Halloween concert with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra to a cocktail crawl through downtown restaurants, according to a roundup by Alpharetta-Milton Patch.

The season kicks off with the Halloween Spooktacular at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, 2200 Encore Pkwy., running 6–10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11. The ASO performs Halloween classics live, including Danse Macabre, Night on Bald Mountain and film scores from Harry Potter and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Costumes are encouraged, according to Awesome Alpharetta's event listing.

The next morning, the Alpharetta Welcome Center hosts Fall Fest from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at 178 S. Main St., Ste. 200. The event features family-friendly activities, food and pumpkin spice treats.

Saturday, Oct. 17, brings two options.

The 5th Annual Boo Bash runs 3–7 p.m. at The Grove at Wills Park, 175 Roswell St. Organized by Alpharetta Recreation, Parks, Cultural Services, the event features trick-or-treating, carnival games, a dance party and the Scarecrow Harvest Awards. Organizers expect more than 2,000 families to attend, Alpharetta-Milton Patch reported. The Boo Bash is also listed as a featured special event on the City of Alpharetta's website.

Also on Oct. 17, North Point Mall holds its own Fall Fest from 1–4 p.m. at Center Court on the lower level near Macy's, 1000 N. Point Circle.

Avalon takes over the final stretch. Trick-or-Treating along The Boulevard runs 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 24, at The Plaza at Avalon, 400 Avalon Blvd. Families can pick up a candy-stop map at Concierge, grab breakfast or lunch from a Chick-fil-A pop-up and catch a Halloween-themed dance show by Rhythm & Shoes at noon. The event runs rain or shine.

Adults get their turn Friday, Oct. 30, when Trick or Drink brings specialty cocktails and costumes to The Plaza at Avalon from 6–8 p.m.

The season wraps Nov. 14 with the 5th Annual Fall Cocktail Crawl through downtown Alpharetta restaurants, noon to 5 p.m., according to Awesome Alpharetta.
