Alpharetta residents and visitors can enter to win a two-night hotel stay and dining gift cards in a new sweepstakes the Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau opened Saturday, August 1.

Entry is free.

The "Taste Your Way Through Alpharetta" giveaway bundles a one-room, two-night stay at Aloft Alpharetta on North Point Parkway with gift cards to four local businesses: $100 to The Butcher and Bottle, $75 to Siena Restaurant, $50 to Williams Sonoma, and $25 to Alpharetta Outfitters. The package is valued at approximately $590, according to the CVB.

Entries are limited to one per person and accepted through Saturday, October 31. Residents can enter online at the CVB's contest page or in person at the Alpharetta Welcome Center. The winner will be selected and notified the week of Monday, November 2.

Melissa Holder, the CVB's director of PR and communications, is the listed media contact for the promotion. In its press release, the bureau said the sweepstakes is meant to spotlight Alpharetta as a culinary destination, noting the city has more than 270 dining options ranging from upscale steakhouses like Cabernet Steakhouse and Oak Steakhouse to international spots such as Efendi Mediterranean Restaurant and Twenty-Six Thai Kitchen & Bar.

The promotion also highlights Avalon's open-air retailers, downtown Alpharetta shops like Ginny & Daughters and Clothes Horse, and entertainment options including the On the Green Alpharetta Concert Series and Alpharetta Food Truck Alley.

The contest's timing overlaps with Alpharetta Restaurant Week, running October 10–17. That event, produced by Flavors Magazine, features more than 45 restaurants offering multi-course dinner menus priced $25 to $60 and lunch menus starting at $20. Confirmed participants include South City Kitchen Avalon, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Smokejack BBQ, and Jack's Feed Store on South Main Street.
