Alpharetta notched a new high on the Inc. 5000, with 23 local companies earning spots on the 2026 ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private businesses. That's two more than 2025.

The city's Economic Development Department announced the milestone Aug. 13, the same day Inc. magazine published the full national list. The Inc. 5000 ranks companies by percentage revenue growth over three years, from 2022 to 2025. Qualifying firms must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent, with at least $100,000 in 2022 revenue and $2 million in 2025.

Three Alpharetta honorees confirmed their rankings through individual announcements:

Heathos, a connected insurance services company, debuted at No. 531 nationally. The first-time honoree also placed No. 27 among all Georgia companies and No. 14 in the insurance category nationwide. CEO Todd Baxter said the company's growth "has come from listening to agencies and carriers, investing in the right people and technology, and connecting specialized capabilities across enrollment, claims and distribution."

ValidiFI, a predictive analytics and alternative data firm, landed at No. 1,238 with 282% three-year revenue growth. CEO John Gordon credited growing demand for data-driven intelligence across payments, fraud prevention and risk decisions.

Giant Sports Cards, the collectibles retailer with a flagship Alpharetta shop, ranked No. 2,626 for its third consecutive year, posting over 122% growth. CEO Jon Butts pointed to the company's second location in Gainesville and continued investment in its online platform as drivers.

The 23 Alpharetta companies are part of a broader 205-firm showing from the Atlanta metro area, which recorded a median growth rate of 137%, according to Inc.'s regional breakdown. Nationally, the 5,000 honorees collectively generated $385 billion in 2025 revenue and added more than 627,000 jobs over three years.

Alpharetta's tech ecosystem underpins much of the growth. The city counts roughly 700 tech-driven businesses and more than 11,000 professionals in computer and mathematical roles, according to Connected Alpharetta. The 2025 Inc. 5000 cohort was heavy on software firms, and that list spanned sectors including software, logistics, healthcare, financial services, legal and IT services.
